WordMark Requirements | Design Direction

Word Mark : BML (case is up to you to decide)
Design must be able to be converted to black and white and maintain its integrity
Design must be bold enough to be made physical  in relief or deboss without the fear of damage
(ie: if I were to put this as a physical stamp or carve it into a product, the line weight would be thick enough to not get lost in production: no whispy or faint lines that will lose definition if a mold shrinks etc., or if it etched in any manner that a gradation wont affect its design.)
Design must not be dependant on a gradation for its appeal
Description of design direction
Along with visual research imagery on this site:
I am looking for a wordmark design/branding theme to liven up current trends of simple modern logos/craftsman stamps that are prevalent right now. In the late 50's and early 60's stark and pure modernism prevailed. Then things started to change to bring back color, a bit of geometric pattern to counter the stuffiness and lack of personality that was presumed with typical modern interiors and design. I think things are getting stuffy again, and I want to push a look back at these old styles to bring back a bit of life and interest into designs right now. Ray Eames and Mary Blaire are 2 designers/artists that had an amazing sense of color and pattern-and I want that to be a heavy influence in the design of the wordmark and overall look/feel of the website. Think of 2 dials. One dial is simple, pure form and type. The other dial is fun, pattern color and texture. Let's tune them so they play nice with each other.
